Private Family Sky Hunts
Your group gets the telescope night to itself, with more flexibility, fewer distractions, and a relaxed pace for kids, parents, grandparents, and friends.
A telescope on the sand. Red lights. Gulf weather honesty. A relaxed host. A private sky hunt for families, proposals, wedding weekends, corporate retreats, bonfires, and luxury rental groups.
Public nights are the casual version. Private nights let us slow down, fit your group, protect the moment, and build the night around what the Gulf sky actually gives us.
Private Family Sky Hunts from $1,350. Larger family, proposal, wedding, retreat, and corporate experiences available. Private bookings of $1,500+ require a 50% non-refundable deposit.A private StarCoast event is a relaxed beach sky hunt for your own group, built around telescope viewing, binoculars, Stellarium sky-app view, red lights, Gulf weather, and whatever the night gives us.
Private nights work for vacation families, proposals, wedding welcome parties, groomsmen nights, luxury rental groups, bonfires, corporate retreats, resort guests, and concierge-planned beach evenings.
Private Family Sky Hunts start at $1,350. Extended Family Beach Nights start at $2,050. Large Vacation House Events start at $3,250. Proposal, wedding, groomsmen, corporate, and retreat experiences are priced by group size, location, timing, access, weather plan, and coordination load.
StarCoast is strongest when a group wants one night that feels different from the usual dinner, beach day, bar stop, or generic party add-on, without turning the evening into an astronomy lecture.
Your group gets the telescope night to itself, with more flexibility, fewer distractions, and a relaxed pace for kids, parents, grandparents, and friends.
A quiet beach setup, a telescope, a sky story, and simple proof if easy after the moment. Simple, different, and not overproduced.
A telescope lounge or private groom-crew night that gives guests something to talk about besides another drink line. A better groomsmen night than another bar tab.
A premium after-dinner beach experience for teams, clients, sponsors, and retreat groups that want something memorable and conversational.
Bring a concierge-style memory to the house or nearby beach, subject to access, rules, safety, and weather.
A low-footprint telescope experience that can pair with bonfires, private chefs, welcome dinners, and resort-style beach evenings.
These are public-facing starting points. Final fit depends on date, beach access, group size, location rules, weather plan, partner involvement, and whether you want proof capture. The $1,350 family floor stays simple. Higher-friction or higher-stakes nights price up. Private bookings of $1,500+ require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

Public nights normally run Monday through Wednesday. Thursday is held first to protect guests if a public night needs a weather makeup.
If the week is clean and the weather, energy, and logistics make sense, Thursday can open for private family nights, partner requests, proposals, or high-value last-minute events.
That usually means meaningful revenue, a strong planner or concierge relationship, a proposal or wedding-weekend opportunity, or a private night likely to create proof and referrals.
The night is structured enough to feel easy, but loose enough to follow the real sky. No lecture. No guaranteed planet list. The hunt is the point.
Telescope, binocular tripod, red lights, glow, and a low-footprint beach setup that feels intentional.
Clouds, haze, Moon, planets, stars, and openings shape the plan. The Gulf keeps us honest.
People move between the telescope, binoculars, Stellarium view, sky stories, and conversation.
When flow allows, we capture simple proof moments, reaction moments, or through-the-scope phone shots. Media never slows the telescope flow or takes over the night.
Private events are planned in advance, so the date is held for your group. A 50% non-refundable deposit confirms the booking on private events of $1,500 or more.
The remaining balance is retained unless the night is a total weather wipeout: unsafe, stormy, fully socked in, or not giving us a fair shot at any version of the private experience.
Public nights exist for excellent reviews, so marginal public nights are canceled. Private events are different because the client picked the date in advance and the night is built around that group.
The Gulf is warm, humid, and moody. Clouds can be ornery. StarCoast does not sell a guaranteed object list. We sell a live sky hunt with honest expectations.
If the sky looks truly socked in, stormy, unsafe, or not giving us a fair shot, we call it. If the sky gives us a workable window, we try to find it.
Private-event weather terms depend on the event type, location, timing, and contract. The goal is simple: protect the guest experience, avoid unsafe conditions, and keep the night fair. We do not apologize for Gulf weather. We plan around it honestly.
No. StarCoast is a private sky-hunt and telescope-lounge business. I capture simple proof only when it fits the flow, and through-the-scope phone shots are available only when the sky and target cooperate.
Setup shots, reaction clips, and atmosphere only when they are easy and do not slow the telescope flow.
Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, or bright targets when the sky and target cooperate. No clean shot, no charge.
Higher-touch proof capture can be scoped for proposals, wedding weekends, retreats, and larger private groups. StarCoast does not become generic beach photography. The photos support the sky-night memory.
Use the public partner page when you want to understand how StarCoast fits your clients. Operational partner details, wholesale notes, and private workflows can stay separate.
Share the date, group, location, occasion, and the kind of night you want. We will reply with fit, next steps, and any weather, access, guest-flow, or photo concerns.
No. It is a relaxed private beach sky hunt. We use real optics and sky tools, but the tone is easy, curious, and guest-friendly.
Yes. Proposal Sky Moments are designed for a quiet private setup, a simple sky story, and simple proof and through-the-scope phone shots when conditions allow after the moment.
Yes. StarCoast works especially well as a wedding welcome party feature, groomsmen night, reception telescope lounge, or memorable guest experience. Wedding Sky Lounge usually ranges from $4,500 to $9,000 depending on the scope.
Often, yes. The fit depends on the location, beach rules, timing, guest flow, and space. The telescope setup should feel like an elegant add-on, not clutter.
For private events, nearby resort corridors may be possible depending on access, venue rules, timing, and event value. Public nights are handled separately.
No. We might see them when they are available, but we do not guarantee a planet list. The night follows the actual sky.
For beach events, guests should bring comfortable layers, chairs if not otherwise provided, and realistic expectations about breeze, humidity, and sand.
Earlier is better for proposals, weddings, retreats, and peak weeks. For simpler family nights, short-notice requests may work when weather and schedule allow. Peak, last-minute, special-location, and proposal-adjacent nights may price above the basic $1,350 family anchor.
Thursday is protected first as the weather makeup night for public guests. If Monday through Wednesday run cleanly, Thursday may open for private family nights, proposals, partner requests, or high-value last-minute events.
