Guest Guide

Your bonfire has a StarCoast Sky Station.

StarCoast adds the after-sunset memory: telescope viewing, binocular tripod, red lights, simple sky stories, Gulf weather honesty, and whatever the night gives us.

This is not a lecture and not a guaranteed planet list. It is a relaxed beach sky hunt beside your beach-night setting.

What StarCoast Is

A simple after-sunset awe moment.

Your bonfire company creates the setting. StarCoast brings the telescope area and hosts a live sky hunt nearby.

Telescope

We hunt for the best available target the real sky gives us: Moon detail, bright planets, stars, clusters, satellites, or whatever is actually workable.

Binocular tripod

Wide-field views help guests keep moving instead of standing in a slow telescope line all night.

Red-light zone

Red lights help guests move safely while protecting night vision and keeping the telescope area calm.

What to Bring

Come comfortable.

  • Beach layers in case the breeze picks up after sunset.
  • Any chairs, blankets, or coolers your bonfire package does not already include.
  • Patience with the Gulf sky. Clouds can move fast.
  • Curiosity. The best moments are often surprises.

What not to expect

No guaranteed Saturn, Jupiter, Moon, Milky Way, or planet list. StarCoast does not promise perfect sky. The experience is a live hunt for the best available window.

Weather Standard

If the sky gives us a window, we will try to find it.

StarCoast runs unless there is active rain, lightning risk, unsafe wind, unsafe beach conditions, or the sky is too socked in to give guests a fair shot.

The Gulf is warm, humid, and moody. Clouds can be ornery. That is part of the story, not a reason to promise a perfect checklist.

Who talks weather?

StarCoast handles weather and sky expectations. Your bonfire company handles the bonfire booking, seating, fire setup, and any payment or package questions.

The Call

The final sky read comes close to the event.

StarCoast may send a day-before expectation note and a day-of sky read when needed. The final call depends on radar, lightning risk, cloud cover, wind, beach conditions, and whether the sky gives guests a fair shot.

Go

The sky is fair enough to hunt. We set expectations and bring the telescope area to life.

Watch closely

Some Gulf nights change quickly. StarCoast may keep watching before making a final call.

Cancel or makeup

If conditions are unsafe or not fair, the makeup, credit, or refund path follows the terms of your bonfire booking and StarCoast partner arrangement.
